Cool Cat was a character on Pee-wee's Playhouse. He was a beatnik living in an area of the Playhouse called "Puppetland". Along with Dirty Dog and Chicky Baby, he spoke in rhyme usually, but in a few episodes, he spoke normally.
He and the others were going to appear in the 2010 revival of The Pee-wee Herman Show—having just returned from a medical marijuana pharmacy and are thus weed-smokers—but the characters were forced to be removed from the show when Paul Reubens realized that this wasn't considered family-friendly.
